Winning Post is now out for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

The game is based loosely on the old arcade game were you bet on horses in a race and try to pick the winner.

This is my first game featuring IAP and Game Center.

The game is FREE but obviously features IAP to buy coins for betting. You don’t have to use the IAP and you get free coins every 24 hours.

Just putting the finishing touches to my latest game for iPod Touch, iPad and iPhone.

It’s a racing game where you bet on the winner of a race. It’s loosely based on the old arcade machines where you bet 2p on the winner of the horse race and you could bet on all 5 horses. I have introduced some new characters like snails and aliens (fish and starfish coming soon).

On the iPad version you get a local multiplayer option, so up to 4 players can compete against each other betting on the winner.

This game will be free and have IAP to buy more coins. The game also feature Game Center integration  so you can earn achievements and submit your score to the leader board.

I was hoping to get it submitted before Christmas but with Apple have some time off over Xmas (during this period you can’t submit apps), think I will wait till the New Year and this gives me more time for testing.

After days of playing around trying to get my Corona SDK developed app to post images to Twitter, I finally cracked it.

Not sure it’s the best way but it works for me.

I will do a proper post on how to do it once my app is approved by Apple, just in case they don’t like something. Basically I used the Corona demo twitter to app to get authorisation using the web popups, then I upload the image to my server along with the authorisation tokens. Then on my server a PHP page takes the image and uploads it to twitter.

There could be simpler methods but I tried all sorts trying to get Corona to talk direct to the Twitter API but couldn’t get it working. Posting tweets is fine but posting a image is a different story.
